Donny McElvoy, better known as Donny Mac, was introduced to waterfowl hunting at a young age. The addiction to duck hunting was instantaneous, and the sport has been his lifelong passion ever since.

Donny Mac’s involvement with duck hunting has been far more than just a hobby; it has guided his life and career. He produced and hosted both regional and nationally syndicated shows about the outdoors for more than 27 years. His regional Outdoor Advantage Show aired throughout the southeast. It proceeded his nationally syndicated show, The HuntFishCook Show with co-host Scott Leysath.

Throughout the years, Donny Mac has developed many close friendships with legends in both the fishing and hunting world, and he has always taken their advice to heart. This has added richly to his own experiences and made him a better sportsman.
